Only if we can have a porn section...................seriously though it is a lml forum and does have a general chat section and a general scooter related section...........where would it end. Most bits can be covered in most of the sub sections anyway.Neco section?..............lammy section?...............Triumph section for Crammy?...................can't see the point myself.Cheers

I have said "yes" simply because LML made Vespa PX's under licence for many years. This alone warrants the membership.

This club is great and there are plenty of Vespa owners on here - a few more surely wouldn't hurt. The whole "Vespa vs LML" along with the "Why re-badge" arguments are dead and buried by anyone of any consequence so lets not even go there.

Im a believer that its the people that matter and I have become good friends with many on here irrespective of what they own.

Food for thought and without prejudice.

Laurie, the point is, there's no need for a dedicated section solely for Vespas, they get answered in the tech bit anyway. There's plenty of members without LMLs on here and they aren't banned, there's no exclusive ownership. We had a 4t section as they were completely a new concept for LML, but we don't have an LML 2t dedicated section as there's just no need for it. But if we start introducing sections for other manufacturers/brands then we'll need one for all LML models too. We have General scooter chat which also covers things not directly LML related, a tech and maintenance section (which by the way, didn't used to have "LML" in the title, someone's been playing!) to cover any tech maintenance questions on any scoot. Posts haven't been deleted or removed if they aren't LML and why would they. But at the end of the day this is an LML Owners Club. If anything a section for "Other Brand/Manufacturer Scooters" as this would cover everything as I don't see why we need one just for Vespas. But that's the idea of the general scooter chat.

Lets not get all hot n bothered about it .... :D

We are After all a democracy ... :D

A member , quite rightly so, asked a question, we have now put it out to vote, and democracy will win.... :D

But....

And here's my but....

As an admin on this site and one of the founder members,,,,to have a vespa exclusive or even another "bit" on the forum that isn't Lml....needs a landslide vote...not just a win....but a conclusive win...

It's heartening to see folk vote, but again to see member numbers over 800 and only votes of less than 20 leads me down another aisle... :?

Hey hoh.....voting is open for a while as a deliberate concept..... :D

Long live democracy..... :D

I agree with this, the good thing about this site is its democratic nature unlike other scooter sites which are run more like dictatorships.

The votes speak for themselves it's a very close run thing.

No problem with that as they are a new concept... as soon as we have enough members with them and a need for it then no doubt one of us will create the section.

no no and no!
vespa forums for Vespa's and this one for LML's
if I want to be warned about my posts not being politically correct, the right tone of reverence because I am replying to someone who has been on here longer/ posts more/ is or isn't ginger/ owns a T5(they rock) or generally want to get banned fro SBW then I will go on there
I don't and I believe we don't need that kind of input on here

Yea with all due respect I am pretty much on the fence with this one. I don't mind either way and just as happy as it is if thats the decision. :)
I treat everone on here as a fellow club member and with this comes benefits. Sharing my knowledge, helping out if I can, offering opinion if warranted. The day that these are no longer needed will be the day that its time for me to hang up my side panels. ;)

Like I said, I have my friends, my tech, my access blah blah and this site is the envy of many clubs around the world - Fact! :P

Tell you what - lets have a Riders Wives section! Ok now we're cooking!
Mickyboy, I have a photo of yours in the shower posing with a bottle of 2T oil.....i'll start with that one!

No doubt like many others this was a difficult decision to make...I love all scooters, however,it is the LML forum and it works well.Slightly worrying that so few have voted....why is this?

Very true, i'm just back and voted yes.....!!! :o

Shock horror... but i'm a selfish sea fish on the sea shore.....

Truthfully tho, i couldnt give a fudge.

I've got a vespa but use this forum every day almost and i do so because it's probably the first forum i've used where nobody has there head stuck up their own erse thinking they know it all.

Were all proper gents on here and with out gushing like a bride on her wedding day i wouldnt have it any other way

Feck me, i'd rather have an LML with a 150 5 port than my px but hey ho... i made my choice.... :D

LML Owners Club Great Britain is what it says at the top off the forum!!!!!
