Dating a Deaf girl

Postby Drum Pro » Sat Apr 04, 2015 6:44 pm

So there is this breezie I'm trying to make time with but she's stone cold deaf. Pretty chick, just sounds ridiculous when she speaks, (there's always something wrong with the fairer sex, or happens to be, in my case.) How am I suppose to communicate especially when I'm a talker and know nothing of sign language? Any of you dudes date a deaf chick? Or is it too much trouble?

Just go for it, Mr Pro....we're all damaged in some way (and the most damaged are often those that think they're not). Deafness is unfortunate, whereas arrogance is unforgivable.

In my book, an obsession with perfection (teeth, tits, hair, tan or whatever) is as off-putting as anything.

like any potential partner she needs special treatment for you both to get the most out of it

There was a joke about women being like parking spaces.. All the best ones are taken and the rest are disabled!! Terrible joke, didn't laugh at it one bit. Anyone who sniggered at that should say many hail Mary's and a few our fathers.

Being deaf wouldn't make a difference to me in choosing a potential partner. Muteness though, now that gets her some extra points!!!
Another fine tip stole from Mick Maidment!!!!

go for it mate, we're all jock tamsons bairns. I used to watch a chap called Mr Tumble on kids telly when mines were younger. He does a simple type of sign language and I picked up a fair bit without even realising it.

My Missus would take on yours in a chatathon any day, Laurie.

The fever pitch of her conversation is always during a Man Programme that I particularly want to watch. Whereas if I so much as breathe during Poldark.........

Doncha just love 'em? ;)
