Anyone caught this series on Channel 4? Very good stuff and available on catch-up. ... -and-style

They didn't cover the MUDs though. This movement was featured by The Face magazine, which I bought religiously in the early 80's. It stood for Mobile Urban Dodgers and I was one of their number. The uniform was: flat top hair do, lumberjack shirt, Harrington or American 50's baseball jacket, Levi 501's and either DM shoes or suede brothel creepers. Music was New Order, Smiths, Cabaret Voltaire, Billy Bragg and 50's rockabilly.

Happy days - a flat top now would feature a distinct crater on the crown of my bonce :( .
Good things come to those who wait
