OMG!!!! Now I understand that if we vote LEAVE then the whole of the East Coast of Britain will become vulnerable to raids from Viking longships :o

And Brexit will also apparently cause an increase in poverty and unrest in Afrika. :?

At least I think that's what Cameron said

Still sat on the fence with this one. The stay in bunch are all posh boys, smiles, waves and happy families why the out lot sound like a bunch of old Fogey's or jobless racists. I don't really want to associate with either! Maybe I should move to Poland- that should be pretty empty by now :D

Listen to big business they know what is best for the plebs! They say to stay in so wages are cheap and jobs plentifull! If we leave then it will hit their margins and that means putting up prices so they can still make 40% profit (after salting away at least as much)
Stay in they say, stay in.

So here's the conundrum-

I actually see the panic of property value loss of 18% a very good thing if we leave Europe, especially as I'm in the market for a new house! I don't mind losing money or wages dropping slightly. Gotta take the rough with the smooth and all that- in it together Mr Cameron? Ten years ago, doing the same job I do now for the same company, I earned 7k more a year until the Working Time directive really came into force. Now salary takes care of any overtime I work, and boy do I put the hours in.

But... I've made a lot of friends from the European migration thing. Been to a lot of good parties and had some crazy adventures. My brother married an attractive Polish girl, they have kids. Apparently my kids see themselves as European rather than English? It's a changing world and Britain hasn't been great for at least 50 or 60 yrs. I keep thinking back to BSA motorcycles and how the lack of change was the death of them. Can we be great again?

RE: The migration thing, we wouldn't indeed couldn't just pull up the drawbridge, rather we could open the doors to the whole world based on their ability and our need. We have a shortage of carpenters, plumbers and nurses, anyone in the world suitably qualified can apply. violent criminals, - no thanks we have enough of our own. The European freedom of movement thing is racist against non-Europeans. It means Euro-shirkers can pick the country with the most generous benefits and turn up there to take advantage of the school, health and welfare systems. With a points system we could welcome the Polish and Romanians who come here to do great work and deny the Polish and Romanians who don't do great work.

OMG! OMG! OMG! :o :o :o

Now I hear that if we vote LEAVE then the IRA will start bombing again and the Irish will invade Ulster :o

This must be after the world war, genocide, Black Death, economic collapse, House prices shooting up, house prices nosediving, mortgage rates increasing, mortgage rates going down and all our roofs blowing off.

At least I think that's what Cambourne said :?

Quite comical to hear Major and Blair speaking together urging us to REMAIN. Kinda reminded you of Waldorf and Statler from the Muppets (You remember, the two grumpy old men who kept on wondering why they were there).

Seriously, if you could pick two people to convince you to NOT vote REMAIN, that'd be Major and Blair

Well, I've sat on the fence, listened to both sides and so far I'm out. I haven't found one convincing argument for staying in, and I've really tried! I hope Boris becomes PM too.

Boris is too far right for me, and i believe only going with out campaign as he is eyeing up No 10. Emotionally i want out as i have not been able to walk around a city center and understand people talking around me. It doesnt make you feel safe,
Voting in .............
Voting out........... euro nutters gave us minimum wage, working time directive and longer paid holidays. More red tape and more red tape

I honestly cannit decide what if either is better for me

The working time directive cost 300 people where I work, a lot of money since we all practically lived at work and got paid well for doing so. I went from earning 33k a year down to 17k circa 2005. Even now in 2016 I'm only just up to 26k. Minimum wage just means more people work for just that- the minimum wage. None of my employee's will be getting any pay rises in the near future because they will all eventually just find themselves sitting on the minimum living wage as that's all our company is willing to pay- the minimum amount it has too. -French bonus driven company.

I get the idea it was all designed to stop company's exploiting employees, but if they didn't like the work there were always other jobs you could do. Some employee's are just not interested in a job to perform they're best and company's offering this basic pay package will just encourage people to not do any more than they have to. Endless stagnation in the work place, or worse- communism (for the lower classes). When I started working at this company in 1998, the job was advertised as "Mad people required for mad work getting mad pay!" I was on £3.20 per hour but took home 30k in my first year! I was told the money's crap but plenty of overtime and you can always borrow a van. Company's just can't do this anymore. Europe banned it all.

The Right encourages hard work and earning so at least the red tape should be cut to enable people to do so. I appreciate the Lefties attitudes to protecting different groups of people but they also encourage the nanny state and a limp wristed approach to finance and discipline. I don't like the Tories but atleast Boris playing the buffoon will be entertaining.

Things will be tough if we leave, but if we work hard "WE" have the opportunity to give Britain the fresh kick up the arse it needs. Today with the news more people have switched to the leave campaign the pound fell in value. Soon it will be cheap enough for foreign company's to invest here and start manufacture again rather than just share the expansive pound at the top where it doesn't filter down to the minimum wage masses. I have no problems with pay cuts or falling property values. I don't have a pension and retirement has been all but banned. What have we got to lose?

Can't help thinking that people might be taking the opinion polls a tad too seriously, esp after the "shy Tories" in the 1992 and 2015 polls

Bit scary the tories threatening greater emergency austerity measures should we leave. Sounds a bit like blackmail. Or worse, sounds a bit like the last minute panic they had when they thought the Scot's were going to leave!

And light bulbs. I quite like LED ones but I don't want someone being paid taxpayers money to restrict my choice.
