Best time to quit a job

Postby Lusciousthelock » Sun Oct 16, 2016 7:02 am

Hiya peeps,

I've put my notice into work after 15yrs of service. I'm contracted to give 12 weeks notice which I have done. I was told due to the pay department they would actually accept one month if I wished.

Since I've quit because I'm sick of the place and it currently being Mid October, am I best leaving before Christmas (from a future employment over Christmas point of view) or would my date of Jan 5th be better- Starting a new year nice and fresh?

No new job yet, just gotta start looking :D
