Tony, you've taken that to far !! you know Aberdeen are the European elite of Scottish football since we are the last Scottish team to win a European trophy and the only ever Scottish club to win two European trophies. :D

Hence the reason Aberdeen have two stars above the badge and Celtic only have one. ;)

Why is it only your fans turn out for the european nights Tony.....seems a tad wastefull to buy a season ticket for only the big games...? 60,000 plus for big games and 20-30,00 for league games???

Could be a number of things...

Me personally...I work shifts and live 170 miles away....I get one Saturday in 5 off.....but 3 Tuesdays and Wednesdays in 5

Finances, and a sense of occasion too....if you had 100 quid to spend on a couple of ours at footy would you go see the bhoys versus Barca or the bhoys versus st midden ?

I wouldn't diss anyone for only going to a few games....

Ok, girls, put the handbags away and let's talk of for more inarguable matters: England's performance last night.

I hadn't bothered watching the previous 8 or so prior to this....like many, I've got totally disillusioned with all things England. Thought I'd give it a whirl, as it was a pretty crucial game. My conclusion? "That is 90 minutes of my life that I will never, ever get back".

You are being more charitable than me  I thought that at best they gave the performance of a third rate pub football team. Individual players seemed to lack the basic skills of ball control and acurate passing so the fact that they spent 90 minutes playing subuteo / John Smiths 'have it' tactics didn't really matter. My boys, 15 & 13, would have had a bollocking if they put in a performance as dire as that last night.

Yea it was almost a foregone conclusion last night.

Its as if they both played for a draw with the odd attack for good measure.

Think Ukraine should have had a penalty if the truth be known.

Just noticed an earlier post in this thread...I dislike Aberdeen as they like to fornicate with sheep & I dislike Celtic due to their aversion to using soap the bin raking weggies

Call me "Detective Super Sleuth Priest", but I have been studying this post and applying Causal Connection Theory* (amongst other statistical analysis tools that I can't be bothered Googling just to impress you lot). And I have drawn some truly astounding conclusions:

The main one is that the posters on this thread seem to like Kissball when the teams they are affiliated to are doing well / have just won. Furthermore, they don't like Kissball when their teams are doing badly / just lost.

Now I know you are probably now sitting at your PC/ tablet/iphone etc in a truly gob-smacked state thinking, "that Hippriest bloke truly is a genius amongst men" but, honestly, I can back this one up.

*tbh, I don't know if this exists, but it sounds impressive.

I might have had a "senior moment" as I feel I've posted this before, but this website is great if you're a "kit anorak" like me. Shows all the historic kit designs of clubs....use it a fair bit for my Ebay vintage shirts.

Now, where did I put those scooter keys........?

John, I'm surprised at all this disliking! I thought you had some sort of skinhead hippie thing going on with going to retreats, meditating, doing yoga and was full of love and peace..... :?
