 I see your point matey..... Yeah born n bread fifer. Dad supported The Gers as did his dad n so on so by proxy as a kid they were my team too. I'm more a fan now than a supporter as i've not been to a game in years. Same with Man City, started supporting them back in the late 80's early 90's as my brother just decided one day he was a UTD fan, which i didnt understand being a kid. So i decided to support city as a Feck you to him.

I follow the fife teams score, not the pars or cowdenbeath tho. Dont like them 2, just Raith Rovers n East Fife......

Tonight I sort of love and hate it. Dropped of for a kip and was delighted to go onto the BBC footie site & see The Baggies had got a 2-2 draw at Chelski.

.....then I read the background story and saw we were robbed of a historic victory from a (apparently) very dodgy penalty in the final minute of injury time. 7 Baggies booked. Gonna be interesting seeing this on MOTD tonight  . Wonder what would have happened had this happened down the other penalty area? Hmmmmmmm.

Yes, certainly surpassing all expectations, I would imagine. Very well done - nice to see an "imposter" in the top 6.

Lost any respect left for Mourinho after his interview last night..... all hail the New Sir Alex?!

Mourino was acting like a totally spoilt little kid in that MOTD interview.

He simply is not capable of admitting failure.

He has been like that since 2003... But I'm just biased.....

Cheating scumbag ......taught his players to dive........admitted it after the uefa cup final .....he said they trained for that as much as they did other things.......divin and Rollin about....

I only heard this morning about Steve Clarke. Everyone up in arms about effectively 6/7 games seeing him off. In truth, people are such hypocrites that, should a new bloke come in and do well (like the Saints manager) it will all be forgotten about and seen as a necessary action. I'm philosophical now: you DO only get this amount of games in the Premiership and it is neco, but the price of failure is so great in this hugely imbalanced world of prem/non-prem footie that this trend will only get worse.

Clarke is a good bloke, but I think a bit of touch-line animation would have done him no harm - even if ineffective, fans see it as an action of caring about things and conclude that sitting on you 'arris in the dugout when things get sticky betrays a lack of said caring.

I see Paulo De Canio is 33/1 on Sky Bet. I searched for my mum at 25/1 but she was strangely absent. ;)

Apologies as ever for footie haters (this includes me right now, btw :( ).

Steve Clarke, is a fcking good manager and coach, with no disrespect to WBA fans, who are they going to get that is better than him, really. Staying in the premiership is there goal, what if alex Mcleish took over, theres a thought. Birmingham, Villa and maybe WBA

Bet he's crossed Andre Mariner off his Xmas card list now. Or sent him a sarcastic one saying, "thanks for that, bud".

In a rationalising mood, Clarke should have banged the table a lot more about all that - I think 'Arry Redknapp would have spontaneously combusted if it had happened to him. Just like politics, unfortunately charisma / personality counts.

Jeremy Peace, the chairman, has shown himself to be a shrewd operator over the years so hope springs eternal.
