Helmets

Im on the look out for a new helmet, between £125 - 200. AGV seem to fit my head the best any recommendations. Ive had the open face and full face, what are the flip up full face helmets like, do they catch the wind when up.

I use a flip up and with the kind of speeds we do on scooters they are fine, apparently they are not good at the superbike speeds, but who cares about that :) These guys seem to do good prices, you do have to join but its free http://www.motobuykers.com/store/ love the roof flip front but its in Bright yellow and they don’t have any other colours :(

Im considering this one, although it is full face. Most helmets look as if they are for Darth Vader. Its either got to be black or white, they do say white is safer.

I've just bought my first scooter and went for a flip up lid after years of sports bikes and full face top end Arai lids. I wouldn't want to reccomend a specific brand but as long as i stick to scooters I don't think I will ever go back to a full face again as the flip up's are excellent.
I don't get any wind blast until the scooter starts to pick up higher speeds and then it's doddle to shut it.
superb lids.

I'm using a Shark Evoline 3 at the moment. A good compromise between open & full face
