1959 Vespa

A friend bought this just before Xmas, one owner from new and not used since 1970, garage stored. Not sure how much he paid but it looks great ! and cool reg, especially if you were into Adamski or Lucozade !

He got the original seat and helmet with it also..

Not sure, havent seen it in the flesh, but i see what u mean from the photo. Could that have been an original colour ??

Nah, not original colour. I did a lot of sussing them out when I got my VBA. The original colour is the standard Italian sky blue. Then when Douglas began to import them they introduced the grey and then the white.

What model is it ?

VBA, VBB, L152. .?

Had one of those...............swapped it in 1989 for a dr180 kit and £20.................DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure, I think it is a L152, but will find out for defo and get back to you..

Yup, its a Vespa Douglas 152L2.

Yup, its a Vespa Douglas 152L2.


Was at scooter meeting tonight and the owner of this lovely scoot said that this is the original colour. Regal Red.
