ECS warning light

Postby MrGrump » Tue Apr 11, 2017 11:00 am

I've noticed that my ECS warning light has started blinking recently.

From doing some research on here I came across the attached error code chart.

The light follows the third sequence, which implies an engine temperature sensor issue.

Whilst I'm riding the light blinks but when I'm stood in traffic or at traffic lights it doesn't come on at all.

Should I be worried about this & get it checked out or could it be some loose connection that only becomes noticeable when the scooter is moving?

I got that same problem with the ECU in the very first 200kms. I took it to the shop and they changed the whole ECU. Also they told me that it wasn't a really serious problem.
