Thieving Cnuts!

Postby Lusciousthelock » Sun Jan 29, 2017 2:47 pm

Just chased off two Romanian teens sitting on my scooter in town, parked on the edge of the Highsteet with hundreds of people walking past. One was sat on the seat with both feet on the handle bars about to break the steering lock. Managed to throw a frozen Lamb joint at one of them (Bet that hurt!) but they got away and atleast my scooter is in one piece. No obvious damage but my handle bars seem slightly out of alignment with my front wheel. Is this possible or my imagination? and if so, how do I fix it?

Does anybody make a small disc lock for these as an extra deterant? I usually take my big bike into town as its alarmed and tracked but fancied a change. Makes me nervous to leave my scoot anwhere out of sight now :(

Just slacken the bolt on the handlebars (13mm head from memory) and realign the bars and tighten. Think Donald Trump might have an opinion on the thieving cnuts.Cheers

Cool ty Nick. Not looked at it to be honest, something for the weekend I suppose. wasnt sure if the whole handle bars / steering mechanism was one piece, so that's sweet and easy to sort.
