Front brake light not working

Hello i have changed my switch and connected terminals and my front brake light does not work but my rear brake light does what could be the problem?

We dont have a front brake light?
Who need's brakes? They only slow you down!

OK so when I press my front brake no light on the back comes on

Ah :D Not 100% sure but an old Honda vision I have has little switches attached the lever's. It's possible if this is where they are on the LML and they may either need to be replaced or simply oiled. I can't check on my own due to a broken foot leaving me housebound. I'm sure some older bikes and scooters only had switches on the rear brake like my 1980 Honda H100a and so it may only be a legal requirement to have them on the rear brake.
Who need's brakes? They only slow you down!

Hi Bubbles,
It may be as simple as you have a faulty front brake switch. Even though it is new it could still be faulty.
I had a problem with mine when I first had my scooter, it turned out that the switch had vibrated loose, I hand tightened it as far as I could to make sure I did not cross thread it, then I gave it a final gentle quarter turn with pliers and all has been okay since.
Ps. Maybe a Vespa brake switch would fit? LML wiring and electrical components are very "80's" if you know what I mean.

Thanks mate I have the metal brake switch on mine as I brought the plastic one first then realised it was the wrong one lol I will have a go at tightening it more if not will check the wiring thanks
