I find getting the scooter up higher helps, i put stand on a breeze block. Then remove plastic bumper, put bit 4x2across, use a big bottle jack to hold back end up. Then breeze block up on floor boards to hold it level. Engine removal, buy small sandwich bags and a marker for engine bolts in sequence.. I always remove exaust as a first job after rear tyre. Then gear selector, clutch, rear brake, ht lead and electrics next. Fuel line from carb. Drop rear suspension bolt to swing engine down for exhaust if you need, then engine support with your tyre underneath to remove it. Just make sure you have loads of light and space, tea, coffee, freeing oil, patence, digital camera anything complicated and the Haynes Bible! Any problems just ask the forum, and enjoy.
