New clutch required

Postby phil23 » Tue Aug 08, 2017 5:16 pm

Evening All
Need a new clutch. The original 7 spring has fell apart when I took the cover of. It was much good before anyway so I'm looking to upgrade. I have a Malossi 166 kit fitted. Any and all advice is much appreciated. Really could do with ordering tonight so I can fit this weekend. Haven't done this before so would prefer a complete package.

Cheers :)

I tried a reinforced cosa clutch from beedspeed had nothing but snags. I like standard cosa clutch cos I am old and the easy pull is nice. With the malossi cosa clutch never gave me much hassle. 21T can be noisy rev wise, but awesome acceleration topping around 70 mph with a mid range engine tune. 22t can give that extra 5mph and quieter, but you can lose power in the wind but still around 60 mph when windy. You can always uprate the springs in the clutch, but I never have, depends how you ride really.
