uprated springs cosa clutch

Just lowering my gearing for scooter and sidecar. Quick jack up rear end, two axle stands under floorboards, clutch out in 10 mins! The clutch holding tool was too wide to go between the clutch plates so I chamfered it with a grinder! Whilst at beedspeed told him did not get on with the re enforced clutch, so I refitted my 8 spring cosa. He advised fitting half reinforced springs. I fitted half 25% stronger springs obviously even spaced. What a difference! A nice smooth even pull, but better for feeling a bite. My cosa was effortless before, but was difficult for biting point feel, The re enforced clutch was a hard pull, and tiring in traffic as I have a bad shoulder. Nice tip if you want to strengthen the clutch a bit without becoming popeye!
