Exhaust

Postby darran1970 » Sun Jan 15, 2012 12:35 pm

Hi just a quick question which is the best exhaust to have on my de-risticted 125 2t I already have a scorpion on and will be having a 150 5 port fitted before March should I get a Sito+ or stick with the Scorpion ?

Many thanks

You really can't have both mate......a sterling or scorpion pipe, even a revolver, are designed to sacrifice mid range power and increase top speed, which is fine if you live in a flat place but crap for hills. For a decent compromise you need a Simonini or Sip........they will power through mid range and give a comfy top end........especially with a 150 5 port set up..........

Sterling etc are much better on a more revvy set up like. polini 180 or malossi ........

Sito + or Simonini I would go mate.......if its for a 150 5 port.......that's what I've got...Nick too.....if your scorpion is in decent nick then sell it on here or fleabay....you should get a decent price of it too.....or just keep it and experiment with it first......you might like it.......

I would go for a sip road over a sito +, it costs a little bit more but its a much better exhaust.

jets will be stamped, but you'll need good eyes or a magnifying glass to read them

+1for SiP Road.
Excellent quality, very good performance in mid range and comfortable top end, 60+ for 150 5 port.
A bit more expensive than the sito+ but well worth it.
(and if you get the red one with the twin chrome tail pipes it will spit the crap out past the wheel.)
IMHO
