washer size?

Postby Roondie » Mon Mar 10, 2014 12:58 pm

I have a set of sip tubless rims with domed nuts, what size of washers do they need?
(didn't come with any) they are smaller than std washer!

Help please?

the washers should have come with the rims, they use M8 Nord Lock washers as these are a lot thinner than normal locking washers, you are better using these nord lock washers as there is not much stud showing after you fit your rims and the thicker washers make it harder to grip the thread that is left showing.
and check that the nuts supplied are running freely on the threads of your studs as I stripped two studs through being supplied with faulty nuts!

Washers arrived tonight, nice and thin clever piece of kit, wheels safely fitted & torqued up.
