Holes? Bungs?
I've got an LML and don't have any problems with holes in my headset top.

The answer to your problem therefore seems to be:
Sell the waspa and get an LML.
Job done, problem over.

Scunner,
you could also buy an LML headset top as they don't have holes in them and get it painted.
Go the Polini, good torquey kits them are .

If you are taking it to Vivo, why not check out the headset for the retro style upgrade?
It's lovely and smooth apparently and has no holes in the top from what I can see.
Just needs to get it sprayed up and bingo.

Hi Scunner125,
I have a 150 ( we only get 150's in Oz ) but I have heavily cut and modified the piston and barrel and matched the casings and am running a
Dellorto 30mm PHBH with a Malossi reed valve set up. I must say the thing flies now especially 3rd which seems to go on forever.
I tried this excercise just to see what could be gained from a standard Indian piston and barrel and must say I am very happy, however down the track I may
do a Polini kit but with a good Italian crank bearings and seals. I like the torquey set up of the Polini which I find more user friendly than the Malossi which is a real rev monster .
All the best whichever way you go mate.
