Going to attempt this tonight as I am riding up to Northampton next week at night so I will need to charge my phone on route. Anyone know what size spade connectors I need to tap in to the horn live ?

Be interested in seeing some photos of your ram mount tipper, when you've finished.

The horn live feed is the way to go. When I fitted my mudguard headlight I used a piggy back spade Connector onto the connector on the horn. Then you can crimp a spade connector onto your new feed and push it onto the piggy back connector on the horn. This saves cutting the wire. I also fitted a 3 amp fuse in the line. You do not require a switch as the ignition key is the switch, when the engine is running you will have power. What's sat nav, I use a paper thingy called a map. In a crises you can wipe your arse. Try that with a sat nav

I recently fitted one to a Habana, not for using for devices so much as making the battery easier to charge. The battery on the Habana lives under a delicate pain in the a%$e piece of ABS which is the whole rear of the bike and held on with self tappers and the wires for the rear light and indicators. Anyhow, wiring direct to the battery and using a male connector permanently wired to an old charger means I can just plug in to charge the battery. Not really an issue on a Vespa/LML but if you did wire the socket to permanent live (Er I guess that's just direct to the battery) you can charge just by plugging in.

No need to fork out all that cash when you have a battery. The mod charger is designed for older scooters without batteries.
