I dont think there is any difference as long as it has the screw fitting,

There is a difference in some screw fittings between LMLs and Vespas - make sure you get the right one. You can just buy the inner if that is that's broken.

It's a different cable from the PX. Mine snapped about a year ago in the usual place so I went and bought 1 from Len Turners but it didn't fit so I took it back to them and they (after a considerable amount of faffing) sorted it . . . . . but I can't remember what they said the problem was, sorry. :|

Don't know if the 4T was fitted differently from 2T or if they changed in particular year. All I know is that the cable was definately different.

LML cable is slightly longer. If you are only changing the inner you must use an LML part (I bought half a dozen last time from vivo as they tend to snap over 70mph). If you are changing the outer too then a PX one fits fine.

Also the LML cable has a metal end finish at the worm drive end. This is to offer a stout fit as the worm is different.

A good tip, when you finally pinch up the lower end, ensure that you hold the bolt plate dead straight as this tends to move when you do it up causing tension on the cable. This in turn causes worm explosion!

There is a thread on here somewhere, I remember doing it.

Oh the joys!
